Welcome to Westwell Parish Council

Westwell Parish Council is a statutory body with nine Parish Councillors, and represents the first tier of local government within the parish. It is responsible, amongst other things, for assessing and commenting on planning applications, and maintaining various public assets, such as the playing field, the church yard and the cemetery, and maintaining the trees on them.

The Parish Council conducts its business at meetings held in the parish hall, which members of the public are warmly encouraged to attend. Dates of these meetings, and summaries of the minutes, are published in The Westwell Eye, and on the Westwell Parish Council website, on which the following can also be found:
