The Parish Council has bought a defibrillator, which is now available 24/7 from outside the Parish Hall for anyone to use in an emergency. The equipment is known as an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and as the name implies anyone can use it without any specialist training. We held a free emergency first aid course in March 2017, which included use of the AED, for local residents, to boost confidence . The Parish Hall Committee hope to run more courses in the future, subject to demand.
