Litter and fly-tipping

Westwell is a lovely part of the country, but like anywhere else it suffers from litter and fly-tipping. If you spot fly-tipping in the parish, you can report this to Ashford Borough Council via the Country Eye app (a free app for Internet enabled mobile devices), or directly on 01233 331111. Alternatively, email details of its nature and location (with a photo if possible) to lucyfarrington@yahoo.co.uk, and Lucy will report it via Country Eye on your behalf.

above: Lucy and Katya prepare to attack the litter on Watery Lane!

Lucy also arranges periodic litter picks along the country lanes in the parish -- these are good exercise and an excuse for a natter, as well as helping keep our countryside beautiful. Please contact her at the above email address if you would like to get involved.
